

Acorns | Your Money First
After another successful campaign bringing Acorns to life with their memorable spokes-squirrel, we were thrilled to partner with them for round three. For the new campaign they looked to go beyond the studio set we had designed and bring a new squirrel character out into the world at large, interacting with people and characters as a news reporter to help explain the benefits of their app.
This series of spots leans into comedy-dialogue, which our seasoned Senior Editor, Paul Clark, helped make shine through expert pacing and finding the best deliveries.

Money Under Attack VFX
The lead spot in this campaign relied heavily on our VFX skillset, requiring us to problem solve how to create a seamless one-shot live news report where our hero puppet was reporting from a veritable war-zone. This involved stitching together multiple disparate plates to pick the best sections of background panic, weave in CG falling advertisements augmented with practical explosions, and cap it all off with an asteroid-like impact. Extensive sound design helped the whole piece feel even more apocalyptic. This was a particularly fun piece to figure out and the end result was quite… impactful.
