Mayo Clinic | Platform
We worked with Mayo Clinic Platform to develop motion marks for their new suite of healthcare solutions. Their established design framework is smart and beautifully minimalistic – simple yet elegant arrangements of circles to symbolize each product. We were challenged to communicate a moving narrative within these symbols that describe their meaning while still representing the Mayo Clinic brand. By following this philosophy, we created consistency and behavior so that each motion mnemonic tells a story and lives within a family of related products.
Iterations
Given the abstract nature of these symbols, we lead with intention for every movement. Each action needed to be smooth and elegant, while telling a story about the product. Here’s the evolution of our thought process.
